A Good Night’s Sleep

Yesterday morning I felt awful… I couldn’t push as hard as normal, felt faint during and after the workout, felt nauseous a few times going to work, and struggled with energy throughout the day.

As a result I went to sleep at 9:30, had a great night’s sleep, and woke up refreshed and energized! Had a great workout, a productive trip into work, and I’m excited to tackle the day.

It’s so important to remember that when getting fit and healthy, sleep plays a huge role! I know that I neglect this all too often… thinking I can function off 5 – 6 hours a night, when in reality I need 6-8. I’m making it a goal of mine to get at least 6 or more hours a night moving forward!
